Why is Spider Edit not saving sounds accurately?

Hi there
I'm creating settings for my spider 75 watt. The sounds/effects I create on the software via the shortboard are great.
I send and recieve all settings and then disconnect laptop from shortboard.... only to find the settings
are not saved accurately to the Line6 amp. Particulary the delays are mismatched... I've tried and retried this process
so many times without a good result that I think I'm gonna pack it in... for all FEATURES I think a few peddles would be far easier
than the tiresome routine of checking /starting up the laptop.
The LIne6 Monkey firmware is up to date.
The entire update process is awkward and not streamlined to follow.
I've given this amp and all the features a good tryout but Im about fed up with trying to work it out.
ANY advice?
Thanks
Mike.
After you have made all the changes, are you saving this to a User Preset location on your amp? You use a 'drag and drop' with Spider Edit to do this.
