Addon's bought on Podfarm 1 won't load in Podfarm 2 (UX2)

Hello Community!

I downloaded the latest update for Podfarm 2 and had to realize it just won't load my FXJunkie and Metalshop gear. In my license manager they shown as licensed, but I still have that issue.

I heard I would have to buy Podfarm 2 Platinum to get these amps. If that is the only possible way, I would be much disappointed from Line6.

Hope I get help, I want to use the Addon's I paid for!

Sound distorted from podfarm with Reaper

Hello everyone.

I'm having a really annoying problem with the Pod Farm plug-in right now. I'm using an UX1 with the 32bit version of Reaper on Windows XP. Basically when i use Pod Farm as an effect for a track the sound becomes heavily distorted and messy, with crackling and popping. Note that this doesn't occur when i'm using the standalone version of Pod Farm. It worked perfectly at first, but started doing this one day out of the blue. What could be the source of this problem? Any advice?

UX2 Toneport on Windows 8

For anybody who has had trouble using their UX2 Toneport on Windows 8 - here's what to do - Thanks to Don from the Line 6 staff. It worked great for me...

Use the Line 6 Uninstaller located at the location below to remove your currently installed Line 6 drivers:

Windows 7/Vista - C:\Program Files(x86)\Line6\Tools - Line6Uninstaller

Windows XP - C:\Program Files\Line6\Tools - Line6Uninstaller

Make sure to disconnect any of your Line 6 USB devices prior to starting the uninstaller. Make sure to only check the boxes at the bottom of the list that are related to the Line 6 drivers, and proceed to uninstall them. Once they are removed, restart the computer. Upon restart download the latest Line 6 Window Drivers from the link below:

Make sure not to connect your Line 6 USB device until prompted to so at the end of the installation process. After connecting it, make sure and look towards the Windows system clock for a notification that Windows has detected your device and has successfully installed the drivers before moving forward. If you do not receive this notification message, make sure to try reconnecting the Line 6 hardware to each available USB port until you have exhausted all available USB ports.

Once Windows has detected your device, close all open applications and launch the Line 6 License Manager application. Log into your Line 6 user account, next select your computer on the left hand of the program, de-authorize it and re-authorize it. Next select your Line 6 USB device from the left hand side of program and de-authorize it, you should be given the option to "REMOVE" your licenses from the device, proceed to do so. After that finishes, re-authorize your device and you will be given the option to "INSTALL", proceed to install your software licenses back into your hardware.

crackling with UX2 (1 second pulse)

I've been using Sonar (X1 Essential) and have been having some fun creating little backing tracks for me to jam along with on my guitar. For this I've been using an internal sound card, an Audiophile 2496.

The problem that I can't solve is when I try to record my guitar through my Line 6 UX2 - the clicking/glitching becomes unbearable when Sonar is running.

I have tried the following:

disabling antivirus software

disconnecting pc from internet

making UX2 the default soundcard

increasing priorities of UX2 (Podfarm) and Sonar in Task Manger

Jedi persuasion/Bene Gesserit voice techniques

I noticed yesterday afternoon, that when I played a sustained note, the glitching sound (bit like radio interference) was pulsing in very regularly at approximately 1 second intervals. Does this suggest anything?

That's about it - Task manager suggests nothing is hogging resources. I would really appreciate some advice, so I can get stuck into Sonar and hopefully start making some music.

Hey peeps! I have this posted over in the POD forum but haven't gotten a response. I figured I'd try here since this is more of a computer issue anyway. Here it is!:

I recently switched to a mac. I have the new imac. I'm trying to connect my pod hd 500 and variax. I have everything downloaded and installed as far as I can tell. The computer doesn't see either piece of gear. When I go to the Monkey, it shows a usb driver update. I've installed this several times all the way to where the Successful Installation page shows. But it still won't see the gear, and keeps showing the usb driver update needing to be updated. Ideas? Thanks!

Pod Studio UX1 and ART Tube MP Studio Mic Preamp

I have the UX1 and i bought a microphone , and when i learned that there wasn't any "phantom power" so i bought ART Tube MP Studio Mic Preamp . It still doesn't works. First , when i connect the adapter to the preamp, the lights were on but after a few seconds lights went off and there was a smell of burning, then i realized that the adapter was burned. That's because i live in Turkey, and i know that i have to plug the adapter with a thing that lowers the electricity . The adapter burned but there weren't any smell coming from my preamp. After , i plugged my other 9V adapter which doesn't have any problem. The lights came back but there's still no voice. I plugged the microphone cable to the input and the output cable was plugged to my pod studio. The analog meter wasn't moving. Maybe i didn't plugged everything well? I even tried on the guitar but the result was same.

POD Farm Live

I know everyone is bent on pushing the HD 500 for live application, but, for one, I'm broke. So, I want to be able to use my POD Farm Tones live. Possibly without an amp. Is there some way I can use either a FBV Shortboard mkii or the FBV Express MKii as a live pedal? But then, i need a way to run it straight into the PA, and neither of those have any Analog outs. Now, I know I'm pushing it here, but If i can use those for live application, is there a way I can use my UX1 for the output since it does in fact have L/R analog outputs? I know it sounds alittle far fetched, but I have a UX1, a laptop with POD Farm 2 and a tone i'm extremely happy with, and access to either a FBV Shortboard and/or Express MKII, but again, am broke. So any good feedback or suggestionswould be extremely appreciated.

KB37 Simultaneous Input Issues

While KB37 is advertised as having five inputs, it seems as though I can only use two at a time.

Pod Farm and the driver manager let me use a few different combinations, but I'm always stuck with inuputs 1/2 and 3/4.

What I want to do is use 1, 2, 3, 4 (Mic Mic Line Line) all on their own channels with their own mono inputs.

This is a big deal, actually. I'd appreciate some insight. A work-around is acceptable, even if it means not using POD Farm.

My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate x64

My preferred Host is Ableton Live 9.x (x64 and x86)

It also does not work in Ableton Live 8.3, 8.4 x86, or FL Studio 10.x x86, as well as with Windows XP Professional x86

I´m using Garageband and I selected ux1 driver as my desired input device, and it´s working fine. But when I connect my microphone (not a condeser one), I doesn´t get any signal from it. I don´t see an specific select option for microphone with UX1. I don´t want to install PodFarm (which is the answer suggested in other posts) ´cause I don´t like it and for all the bad experiences with drivers and line6 software to make my UX1 work. The second step would be recording my guitar and voice at the same time. Thanks in advance.

right,i am pretty much continuing the http://line6.com/support/thread/81191?tstart=0 thread, as it didn't resolve my problem all the solutions proposed in there.

all drivers are updated.

c++ up to date.

i dont want to use any of line 6 softwares, although i have tried to make this work with pod,pod2 and gearbox. still no signal from the microphone.

when on audio midi device manager, selected mic&instrument, doesn't give me the record send option.
