You do not have to calibrate the pedal each time you use it. You should be able to use the pedal to change channels, and use the pedal for volume or wah effects.

Many thanks for that, i have tried in psat but obviously not pressed hard enough for '2' to appear :-)

The channels now sound the same with or without pedal.

I assume you only have to do it once, not each time you switch on ?

If you are not getting the pedal to switch to '2' in the display, you must not be pressing down hard enough on the toe of the expression pedal.

Please ensure to press hard enough on the toe of the expression pedal (with your foot while standing up) to toggle the toe switch.

FBV to Spider iv 30

I have a Spider iv 30 and an FBV MKII series, i am trying to sync these together as per manual but will not change past step 1.

i have powered on holding the D switch to get step 1 but when moving pedal forward it does not change to 2. With pedal connected the channels do not sound the same as with pedal disconnected. Is the FBV faulty?
