Need Recommendation For AntiVirus Program That Runs Well With L6/Monkey

Can someone recommend a good and FREE antivirus program that works well with Monkey and L6 stuff? I don't want to use McAfee or Norton...I'd like something that is as unobtrusive as possible. Someone in this forum recommended a freebie a few weeks back, but I can't find the post. The name of the program mentioned had 3 letters in its name...I think. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

JB

Using the FBV Express MKII With POD HD (bean)?

I hooked up my FBV Express to my POD HD bean and noticed the toe switch didn't work as a volume control, but it did work as a wah. Do I need to program the POD HD bean so it recognizes the FBV Express? I know the FBV Express is limited on what it can do, but for the time being it's all I can afford at the moment. I can make decent patches, but man when it comes to programming this to work with that I am out of that league.

Thanks.

John

I would like to further tweak it to alter it slightly. Is there a way to copy and paste a patch from 4A to 4B? Can't seem to find anything on this subject. No, I am not knocking them, I just can't hear it. Someone told me it was to help sustain notes, but I don't hear that either.

So, here's what I'd like to get: A long, sustained note using my HD bean, either my Zakk Wylde Gibson LP or my Fender Strat (with a humbucker in the bridge), and either my studio monitors or my Tech 21 PW60. I am going for something SRV-ish with some long sustain. Is this where the compressor comes in?

Thanks.....JB

Is This Possible With the HD Bean?

I am loving the HD (bean) thus far and enjoy dialing in some great Stevie Ray Vaighan tones. I also own the FBV Express MKII and would like to know if I can do the following:

1) Use it as a volume pedal or a wah?

2) Use it to hit either A, B, C, D to engage a tube screamer effect?

3) Use the volume pedal as a way to increase an effect ( a la Glenn Deluane) sp?

4) Or is it limited to just cruising through patches?

5) Can a real wah pedal like a VOX be used in front of the HD Bean?

Thanks, I'd love to get the FBV Shortboard, but I was just laid off and can't afford it at the moment. Thanks!!

John

Message was edited by: johnblume

Can Dual Amps Be Set Up In POD HD Edit?

I haven't been able to find where I can set up dual amps in the Edit. Can this be done?
Loading HD 500 Tones Into Pod HD (Bean) Help

I would greatly appreciate some guidance on loading patches that were made for the 500 into my new HD bean. I've seen some posts regarding this, but it seemed like I would have to know how to program my computer, and coming from the older generation I am not that computer literate. I use Windows 7 and when I save a patch a window opens up giving me the opportunity to name the patch. When I name and save the patch, do I put a dot after the name followed by the "bean extension"?

Does Line 6 have a support document on how to load 500 tones into the bean? If not, it sure would help out big time. Thanks for any help. I've seen a lot of HD500 patches on the custometone page, but I've read that they don't work unless converted for the bean.

Thanks!!

John
